The Rapture and the Revelation are no more the same than are the Body of Christ and Israel

Dr. Mike Johnston

The Rapture and the Revelation are no more the same than are the Body of Christ and Israel. As we have stated, the Tribulation from its first mention (Deut. 4:30-31) has been part of God’s prophecy program for the Jews. Now here’s the inconvenient yet incontrovertible corollary to this: Scripture clearly reveals Israel and the anti-Semitic, unsaved nations of the world on earth in the latter days during Israel’s Tribulation. However, the church Body – never mentioned in prophecy anywhere – is not here. Please disregard books you’ve read, and teachings you’ve listened to and search the Bible yourself. There isn’t a verse of Scripture anywhere in the Bible clearly and conclusively placing the Body of Christ on earth for a single moment during Israel’s Tribulation without pulling from context the words “saints” and “elect which in Daniel, the Olivet Discourse, and Revelation refer to Israel.
