Abortion Rites

abortion-by-lethal-injection

Dr. Mike Johnston

As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all (Ecclesiastes 11:5)

Most of us know that Satan hates the Jews because they are God’s elect people (Gen. 12:2-3; Deut. 7:7-8; Isa. 45:4). Through the years he has orchestrated countless campaigns in an effort to totally annihilate the Jewish people from the face of the earth. [1] And while anti-Semitism is an age old problem, what we often overlook is the devil’s vitriol for human beings who are in fact made in the image of God (Gen. 1:26). Arguably, his greatest holocaust has not been the 6 million Jews who died in WWII, but against 50 million innocent unborn babies who have since 1973 been sacrificed in the abortion mills of America to the Canaanite deity called Molech.

Abortion and Molech Worship

Make no mistake; abortion is a reappearance of Molech worship and it is EVIL! Today it has been redressed in political garb where it has been redefined as a right and imposed as the law of the land. Its long and barbaric history can be traced to pagan rituals in Canaan whereby men and women sacrificed their “unwanted” children to their deity in exchange for a better life. Note a few of the peculiar similarities between abortion and Molech worship in Smith’s Bible Dictionary which offers this with my comments [bracketed]. The fire-god, Mo’lech (king) was the tutelary [protector] deity of the children of Ammon, and essentially, identical with the Moabitish Chemosh. Fire-gods appear to have been common to all the Canaanite, Syrian and Arab tribes, who worshipped the destructive element under an outward symbol, with the most inhumane rites [nothing is more inhumane than unborn babies being ripped apart while alive or cut in pieces and pulled from a mother’s womb]. According to Jewish tradition, the image of Molech was of brass, hollow within, and was situated without Jerusalem. “His face was (that) of a calf, and his hands stretched forth like a man who opens his hands to receive something of his neighbor. And they kindled it with fire [abortionists often burn the child with saline], and the priests took the babe and put it into the hands of Molech [like the hands of the doctor who is sworn to protect life], and the babe gave up the ghost.” [this ritual was often accompanied by pounding drums and shrieks of hysteria that were purposefully employed to muffle the screams of the helpless child]. Many instances of human sacrifices are found in ancient writers, which may be compared with the description of the Old Testament of the manner in which Molech was worshipped [today, the spirit of Molech appears as the god of pleasure, convenience, and money]. Molech was the lord and master [today we are under the thumb of a tyrannical Supreme Court meticulously staffed by liberals] of the Ammonites [although unethical and savage, he was legally the law of the land]; their country was his possession [try to reason with a pro-abortionist about lessening the need for abortions], Jer_49:1, as Moab was the heritage of Chemosh; the princes of the land were the princes of Malcham [princes were the political voices all committed to the system condoning child sacrifice]. Jer_49:3; Amo_1:15. His priests were men of rank, Jer_49:3, taking precedence of the princes [physicians and high ranking politicians- like a president and his cabinet]. The priests of Molech [abortuary staff], like those of other idols, were called Chemarim. 2Ki_23:5; Hos_10:5; Zep_1:4. (Smith’s Bible Dictionary)

Because of the savagery associated with child sacrifices, Israel was sternly warned with consequences against participating in these rites: Leviticus 20:2-5  Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.  (3)  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.  (4)  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:  (5)  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

Sadly, after many centuries of Israel’s hard hearted disregard of the prophetic warning, God called Jeremiah the prophet to lay out her impending judgment and captivity: Jeremiah 32:30-35  For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith the LORD.  (31)  For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,  (32)  Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.  (33)  And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.  (34)  But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.  (35)  And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

Blood on OUR Hands

When God punished Israel, the entire nation suffered for the sins He held them corporately responsible for. Make no mistake, we the American people have blood on our hands and in a measured degree are as guilty as the mercenary politicians who draft protective legislation facilitating the immoral people who want sexual freedom without constraint, condemnation, or consequences.

However, we Americans aren’t just sinful; we are in denial about our sins. We’ve allowed God’s Word and prayer to be virtually obliterated from our public schools [which were founded by Colonialists to teach children the Bible] and society in general. This has led the way for the capstone corollary to our egregious activities: Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: (Jeremiah 6:15).

M.R. DeHaan, M.D. addressed the sick mentality permeating America 60 years ago when he wrote: “Has it ever struck you, as it has me that the world has tried desperately hard to rid itself of even the very mention of the word sin? It has almost entirely disappeared from the world’s vocabulary. We can pick up our newspaper or magazine and read all the accounts of violence and atrocity and murder and dishonesty, but seldom are these things called “sin.” Writers talk about crime and violence and death and murder and immorality, but the word SIN is carefully avoided. Now all of this has become very significant, for we believe it to be an attempt, consciously or unconsciously, to get rid of the idea of sin. But sin is still sin, and until there is a revival of preaching against sin in all of its awfulness, as a filthy damning rebellion against God, which it is, there cannot be a revival, but the world will continue getting worse and more rotten and more sinful than ever. By the grace of God, we, therefore, shall lift our voice against sin, not merely as a human weakness, not merely as the mistakes of a race trying to climb upward by evolutionary process, but as that vicious, selfish, filthy thing which lies at the basis and root of all man’s troubles and trials, and which is a rebellion against a thrice-holy God, which must result in the punishment of the sinner in an eternal Hell, unless it is taken care of by the blood atonement of the Son of God. That is why we preach on the subject of the blood, the only God-given remedy for sin.” [2]

Calling sin by its rightful name is the message that needs to dominate our pulpits and fill our public schools, universities, seminaries, and Bible colleges today. Isaiah charged: Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression . . . (Isaiah 58:1). This includes unmasking abortion as one of the most egregious sins in America today. We can’t let another generation grow up without hearing “thus saith the Lord!” God longs to lift up Spirit led men who will pray at least an hour a day, and study, preach and teach the King James Bible as if it is the most important Book on the planet- which it is. I will do it. Will you join me?
