Earnestly Contend – These are Evil Times

POB 177 – Battle Creek, MI 49016-0177
Dr. Mike Johnston

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3)

The church has been deceived today by a growing number of voices that have been judged by their popularity rather than their doctrines. Several years ago prolific author and researcher Dave Hunt issued the following challenge in his electrifying expose The Seduction of Christianity: “We must be able to distinguish the voice of Christ through His Word from the confusing mixture of truth and error that is spoken in His name.” This seems to be at the crux of our  delusion dilemma where we now find the occult and sorcery being promoted and practiced in the church under the auspices of- believe it or not- “the baptism of the Holy Spirit.” [1] These include kundalini, divination; [2] positive confession/mind over matter; [3] covetousness; [4] and the deification of man and the denigration of God. [5]

It horrifies me to have to admit that we Christians have not only lost our ability to discern between the spirit of truth and the spirit of error (1 John 4:1), many now become livid with those of us who point it out in order to foster repentance. What a values paradox this has created.

This blog will provide you with a lot of FREE info on end times oriented themes you can copy, paste, study, and share. In the next section I’ll explain how to access the info.

[1] The Baptism of the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with the practice of spiritual gifts. Read 1 Cor. 12:13 and order our tract: The Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

[2] Divination is strictly forbidden (Deut. 18:10) and yet many churches and “Christian” television all ballyhoo this through prophetic utterances, words of knowledge and interpretation of tongues.

[3] The positive confession (aka word faith) movement made popular by occultists under the term Force or Universal Mind

[4] Prosperity gospel whereby you name it and claim it in “the name of Christ.”

[5] Not just New Agers. Hinn, Copeland, Hagin, Avanzini, Cerullo, and countless others are all claiming WE ARE GODS!
